アスト先生 DRIBAR De-Laminating Carbon Fiber!

Simply amazing: Asto-sensei from DRIBAR Tokyo showed me how he de-laminates carbon fiber. The result are pieces which are surprisingly flexible, with excellent 'memory' after flexing. Springs back to straight. Naturally, resulting parts weigh next to nothing. Here's how todo it: Wedge one end of a carbon fiber popsicle into a block of wood. Use a thick sharp blade, (like a box cutter or similar). Tap the blade gently with a soft mallet, separating the layers. Finesse required, but the results are endlessly useful! Brakes, under-guards, damper mounts... ありがとう アスト先生!!!
