Experimental MA build, trying a few different things to build from the winning SHMOOBALL. Lessons learned :) Some things worked well, some not: Good: + 3mm carbon, eliminated several parts and screws by taking advantage of 3mm depth. + recessed front brake- I wanted to hit brake later, and this brake is a terrific combo with 3mm carbon. + front stabilizers from MA/AR brake: great for me, very durable. Bad: - my damper designs went very bad. Front mount is too narrow, even with additional carbon brace, the body damper wiggles side to side because front is too narrow. It's subtle, but easy to see on the track. Lesson: mount wide. - rear damper: not bad, not good. Ball joints should be 3mm further forward- had to bend screws to get smooth motion, this one is hard to maintain. Also I think lack of height stop makes rear brake bounce around way too much. - rear brake, could be 8mm wider for better roll control in jumps. - tires Kindof sloppy - clear blue body: too brittle for my use
